Dyson Racing moved back into second place in the American Le Mans Series P2 Team Championship with their fifth and seventh place class finishes at the Grand Prix of Mosport. It was a spirited sojourn north of the border with four different manufactures in the top six.
Road America is aptly named. The only significant race track in the US that has “America” in its name, the track is a natural for the prototype sports cars of the American Le Mans Series. Now in its fifty-first year of hosting professional sports car racing, the two Thetford/Norcold Dyson Racing Porsche RS Spyders were fifth and seventh today in LMP2 qualifying for tomorrow’s four-hour Generac 500.

Penske Motorsports and Flying Lizard Motorsports have battled to put their drivers and their Porsche race cars in respective class leads after seven rounds of the American Le Mans Series, but neither team is secure in its championship bid as the series heads to Wisconsin for the Generac 500 at Road America in Elkhart Lake.
